Writing in progress...

I was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Maryland. I wrote my first book when I was seven years old. It told the heartbreaking story of how my beloved hamster died while I was on a family vacation. I was a slightly dark, but imaginative child. My love of writing extended through college where I graduated from University of Maryland with a focus in communications and marketing.

After working twelve years primarily in the architecture and design industry, like many Americans, I was laid-off in May 2020. I took this opportunity to pursue my passion for writing and that is when the drumbeat for me began. I am furiously writing and hope to complete my first novel soon.

I currently live in Washington, DC with my husband, our two daughters and our dog, Ace.
