About Me

I was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Maryland. I wrote my first book when I was eight years old. It told the heartbreaking tale of how my beloved hamster died while I was on a family vacation. I was a slightly dark, but imaginative child.

My love of creative writing extended through college where I graduated with a B.A. from the University of Maryland with a focus in communications and marketing. By day, I work in integrated marketing for a global commercial real estate firm. By night, I enjoy torturing my characters.

I currently live just outside of Washington, D.C. with my husband, our two daughters and our dog, Ace.
